  Rites at Laclede for Mrs Nancy Foster Funeral services for Mrs Nancy Jane (Herring) Foster who died Monday Aug. 17, at her home in Laclede were held Tuesday afternoon an 2 o clock at the Write Funeral Home in Laclede with Rev Elmer Finton officiating
 Mrs. Foster was born Dec 29 1879 in Livingston County the daughter of George W Herring and Melinda (Long) Herring On April 18 1897 she married Andrew J Foster They were the parents of five children Mrs Foster was a member of the Zion Baptest Church
  She was preceded in death by her husband and a son Ora. Surviving are two daughters Mrs Gertrude Wright and Mrs Dorothy Hoselton of Laclede, two sons Charles Foster of Laclede and Nobe Foster of Suger Creek 14 grandchildren 43 great grand children one brother James Thomas Herring of Chillicothe and two sisters Mrs Laura McCoy of Chula and Mrs John Kilburn of Walnut Grove.
