Note:   Alice Montgomery, author of The Seeds of Andrew Whiteleather, includes in her book on page 196 a picture of a marriage record from Columbiana County, Ohio, Book 1, pg 37. The record is for Adam Hahn and Magdalana Weisleder, married 19 Apr 1808. She cannot figure out why Andrew's name is shown as Adam. But is it really supposed to be Adam? The identical dates make one think it is really supposed to be Andrew. Needs some investigation. Mrs. Montgomery says the marriage took place in North Georgetown but offers no reference. In Ohio Marriages Recorded in County Courts Through 1820, an Index, Jean Nathan, Chairman, Ohio Genealogical Society, 1996, p. 427: Adam Hahn, Magdalena Weisleder Apr 19 1808 Colu 001 037. This is the same date shown in the Hahn family Bible. Either 1. Andrew's name was mistakenly written as his father's when recorded in the county book, or 2. Adam really did marry a girl with the same name as his son's wife and Adam and Andrew married these two Magdalena Weisleders on the same day!
