Beret and Anders lived as peasants/renters on Bordsplassen (under
Nordigarden Gulsvik). Beret was at this place in 1865 and 1875 withher
three children.
After Anders died, Beret moved back to Lillegandrud , the home of her
parents, and while living there she had an affair with KnuteEngebretson
Gandrud of Store Gandrud, the adjacent farm.
Beret resumed her Gandrud maiden name after her husband died.
She emigrated to the USA (Pope County) in 1883, together with herchildren.
Per Jeanette Gandrud, she was a "hard" lady.
