  KNUT O. VOLD Rites to be Friday
  Knut Vold was life-long resident of Worth County
  Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at the First LutheranChurch in Northwood for Knut O. Vold, 78, lifelong Worth Countyresident. Conner funeral home is in charge. Mr. vold died Sundayfollowing a prolonged illness. Services will be conducted by the RevOscar Mikkelson. Burial will be at he Sunset Rest cemetery.Pallbearers will be: Irving Vold, Whitney Randall, Bennie Brunsvold,Mayland Brunsvold and Laurence Brunsvold. Born Feb. 7, 1878, the sonof Mr. and Mrs. Ole H. Vold, he was baptized and confirmed inthe ElkCreek Lutheran Church. He attended the Brookfield township school andthe Nora Springs seminary. On February 7, 1915, he married the fromerAlma Havig at St. Ansgar. Mr Vold was the last surviving member of afamily of six brothers and sister. Surviving are his wife, son,Robert and granddaughter, Roberta, and several nieces and nephews.Robert was an adopted child.
