Note: N4814 ENTRY #69, 30 June 1818, SYVER; witnesses were Ingeborg, GuriOlsdatter, Narve & Elling Wold. Buskerud county, Nes, Parish register (official) nr. 7 (1815-1823),Birth and baptism records 1818, page 128-129. http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=3052&idx_id=3052&uid=ny&idx_side=-66 http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20060127050666.jpg Severt is seen on the 1860 census as Sever Alginson (age 36). Hiswife is Christine, same age, and their sons, Halgrim (written as Alginand age five) and Iver age 3. I made a cc of the 1865 census showingChristine Living with Halgrim and Iver. A cc of the page with Iver onwas not made. after 1865, Christine married Steingrim Knutson who wasmuch younger than her. He was born in July of 1839 and was widowed bythe year of 1900. He was living alone. Halgrim was born in Januaryof 1855 and was not married on the 1880 census and died February 4,1884. Iver was born in 1858. I could not find Iver on the 1900census and 1920 census for Minnesota as either Iver Severson,Halgrimson or Vold. On the 1870 census, Iver is listed with the lastname of Halgrimson and on the 1880 census, he was going by Severson. There was an Iver S. vold living in Kenyon Minnesota on the 1920census, but the age was wrong by about 20 years. However, this Iverwas single and was working as a handy man. Perhaps the people heworked for did not know his age. It looks like Iver died in 1936according to the Valley Grove Cemetery Index. I checked for his deathrecord in both Goodhue and Rice County and did not see it.
