  From Rootsweb Family Tree, J. M. Lawrence Jr., 2006, jmljr39@@swva.net (T. Wilkerson TCWilk@@aol.com):
Moved from Kentucky to Mississippi in 1836. T. A.'s parents were Shadrack (Shade) Hale (1809-1885) and Amanda Brown (1818-1898). Shade moved from Tenn or Kentucky to Miss in 1836. He lost his first wife and was left with two children: Talbert and Rebecca. He and Amanda Brown, his 2nd wife, had six children including Theodore Adolphus Hale. Shadrack's father was George Washington Hale (??? believed to be related to the brothers Hale : Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego of Bedford County, Virginia.)
  T. A. Hale was a Coal Dealer and Manufacturer of Pure Ice located at South Main Street in Water Valley (Lafayette county), Mississippi, phone # 177. T. A. and his wife Alice Avent Hale moved to Water Valley on July 16, 1890. They "burned out" on April 27, 1895
