Note: Obituary. Christina E Carlson rites were in Albion on October 14. Christina Elizabeth, daughter of John and Elizabeth INNESS, was born in Polk County, Nebr. on Sept. 6, 1875 and died at Norfolk on October 12, 1967 at the age of 92 years. She grew to womanhood in Polk County and on January 1, 1910 she was united in marriage to G. A. Carlson. They moved to Fullerton after their marriage and in 1915 moved to Albion. Mrs. Carlson held membership in the Albion Methodist church for more than 50 years and participated in its many activities. After Mr. Carlson's death in 1948 she continued to live in Albion until 1961 when she moved to the Crowell Memorial Home at Blair. She is survived by her two sons, Inness R. Carlson of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Edward J. Carlson of Omaha; also 1 sister, Mrs. Nina McKeag of Osceola, and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, at the Levander Funeral Home in Albion. Rev. Woodrow Leypoldt was the officiating clergyman. Mrs. Ora Hutchinson was the organist. Pallbearers were Arol Sipes, William Cook, Bill Maxwell, Herbert Knutson, Virgill Potter and L.J. Fox Jr. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion.
