a. Note:   FAIR HAVEN - Shira Ann Fernett Mills, 34, of Fair Haven, a former resident of Folskston, Ga., died at her father's home in Fair Haven on Dec. 27, 2003, after a short illness.
  She was born on Oct. 10, 1969, in Rutland, the daughter of Stephen A. Fernett Sr. and Sharon A. (Kapitan) Fernett.
  She married Mark Mills on May 10, 2002. The couple worked as a professional truck-driving team in the automobile transport business.
  She enjoyed boating and many other outdoor activities.
  Survivors include her husband, Mark Mills of Fair Haven; her father, and stepmother, Tracy Ellis of Fair Haven; her mother, Sharon A. Massey of South Carolina; two daughters, Cynthia Fernett and Elizabeth Halligan, both of Fair Haven; a sister, Amanda Moyd of Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, Stephen Fernett Jr. of Charleston, S.C., and Joshua Fernett of Whitehall, N.Y.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and a nephew.
  She was predeceased by a son, Michael Halligan, and by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
  A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Durfee Funeral Home. The Rev. Marshall Hudson-Knapp, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Fair Haven, will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of her family in Florida.
  Friends may call Tuesday from 10:30 until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m.
  Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice at P.O. Box 787, Rutland, 05702-0787.
