Note: This tree was printed as a drawing in the book entitled "Das Schloss Hallwyl in der Enstehungzeit der modernen Denkmalpflege 1860-1920" by Moritz Flury-Rova (no publication date or place), purchased at Hallwyl Castle, Switzerland in April 2010 by Sheila Schmutz. The family tree is on p. 8 and credited to Innes Keller of the Staatsarchiv Aargau. The schloss is in the Canton of Aargau and is one of 4 museums operated by the Canton. more children died young in addition to the 3 sons shown “900 Jahre Leben auf Schloss Hallwyl, Vorderes Scloss/Familien- und Baugeschichte” by Thomas B. Frei, Conservator of Hallwyl Castle, 2005. p. 18 He was the 3rd son. Like his brother, he was a member of the council. Karl Gabriel earned an honorable reputation among the Hallwylers. He died as a Lieutenant in Breda, Netherlands. Note this book lists his dates as 1778-1827 whereas Ennis Keller states he died in 1847. http://www.adelsvapen.com/Tersmeden/pages/von-Hallwyl-v2.htm states he was a Colonel in "Schwiezisk" service - could this be Swiss?
