a. Note:   and taught the eight and nine year old Sunday school class for over forty years. Virginia and her husband, Lewis, were owners of Goldston's Grocery for forty-nine years in South Harriman. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Lee Hamlett, Sr., Hoyt Edward Hamlett and parents, Harry and Marjorie Hamlett. Survivors: husband, Lewis Goldston of Harriman, TN; daughter, Betty Goldston of Harriman, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Jim Rummel of Harriman, TN; daughter, Linda Goldston of Menlo Park, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Sandy Hamlett of Rockwood, TN; sister, Myra Hamlett Halburnt of Oliver Springs, TN; granddaughters, Allison Rummel and Jennifer Rummel, both of Knoxville, TN; great-grandson, Syyrus Shell of Knoxville, TN; many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at South Harriman Baptist Church with Ken Isham officiating. Interment will be in Willard Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kyker Funeral Home.
