"Lancy was the son of the late Mason and Hanna Hammon, he was a member of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife M. Florence, one brother and five sisters. He was the last member of his family and was a retired driver for the WV Dept. of highways. He is survived by one son and four daughters, 12 grandchildren, 9 greatgrandchildren and several step grandchildren."
