Note: ht, age 58, Elmore City, were held at 2:30 p. m. Monday in the Elmore City First Methodist church, with Rev. Elwin White, pastor, officiating. Knight was born in the Indian Territory near Davis and came to Elmore City when one year old. He has lived there since. He died Saturday night of a heart ailment in the Wynnewood hospital. Burial was in the Elmore City cemetery under the direction of Yeary-Vaughn Funeral home of Elmore City. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Knight; his sons, Orville Knight, Hobbs, N. M., L. D. Knight, Big Spring, Tex., Clyde Knight, Elmore City; one daughter, Patty Jane Knight, Elmore City; two brothers, D. T. Knight, Joplin, Mo., and W. L. Knight, Montesuma, Ind.; five sisters, Mrs. Joe Clark, Ponca City, Mrs. Mattie Adams, Ranger, Tex., Mrs. C. P. Mitchell, Chickasha, Mrs. Ollie Kennedy, Elmore City, Mrs. Fred Combs, Elmore City, and four grandchildren.
