  Helen was employed in meat packing plants in Waterloo and Fort Dodge, IA. for forty-five years until she retired. Helen and Vincent lived in a beautiful home that Vincent had built just outside of Fort Dodge, Iowa. As a young girl she loved to ride on the trains with her father.

 HELEN HARROLD
 Helen Harrold, 86, 2400 6th Ave. N., died Dec. 23, 1996, at the Marian Home.
 Services will be 10 A.M. Friday in the chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home, Fort Dodge, and 10:30 A.M. at Corpus Christi Church, Fort Dodge, with the Rev. Brian Danner officiating at the Mass of Christian burial. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pocahontas. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today. There will be a vigil for the deceased at 7 p.m. today.
 Survivors include her husband, Vincent, Fort Dodge; son Dennis Harrold, Brunswick, MD.; and daughter Beverly Maignan, Palm Springs, Fla.; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sisters, Thelma Kuyrkendall, Raymond, and Marge Scheel, Cedar Falls. She was proceeded in daeth by her parents, George and Lydia Gushard, Butler; brothers Arthur and Albert Butler; and sister Lil Toufhemdeaux.
 Helen M. Butler was born Nov. 12, 1910, in Waterloo. She attend schools in Waterloo. Following her education, she became employed for Rath Meat Packing Company in Waterloo. She later moved to Fort Dodge where she was employed as a meat cutter for Gus Glaser Meats until her retirement. In 1955, she married Vincent Harrold in South Dakota. They made their home in Fort Dodge. In 1993, she became a resident of the Marian Home. Memorials may be left to Corpus Christi Church.
