BUTLER Funeral services for George B. Butler, 42, 215 Oneida Street, and Illinois Centeral Conductor, who died after a brief illness in Fort Dodge at 3 p. m. yesterday at the O'Keefe and Towne Chapel Sunday at 2:30 p. m., Rev. R. N. MacDonald officiating and members of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen attending. Burial will be in Fairview. Mr. Butler was stricken by an attack of appendicitis while on his run at Fort Dodge on Wednesday. An emergency operation was performed at a hospital but he failed to rally. The body was brought to Waterloo this morning. He had been a conductor on the Illinois Centeral for 18 years, running on the western division. He was a native of Iowa, born Sept. 11, 1882. On Sept. 4, 1908, he was married in Waterloo to Miss Lydia Gushard. The widow, six children, his mother, residing at Iowa Falls, six brothers and three sisters survive. The children are Helen, 15; Albert, 14; Thelma, 10; Arthur, 8; Lillian, 6; and Marjorie, 3.
