Daywalt mailed me(snail mail). Partial Obituary: Mr. Trace was born and reared near Falling Spring, this county. He learned the blacksmithing trade at New Franklin and later removed to this place(New Baltimore?)where he worked some years in the old Geiser shops. He then then located at Ortanna, Adams County, residing there about twenty years. He is survived by his second wife RosieTrace, and one daughter, Miss Charlotte Trace, New Baltimore, and five children by his first wife: Mrs. Marshall Richardson, of Downsville, Md.; John A. Trace, Waynesboro(Pa.); Mrs. De Witte, McCann, Harrisburg(Pa.); Adams County; Mrs. William Coston, Gettysburg; Charles U. Trace, Pittsburgh; sisters Mrs. Katie Danfelt, Chambersburg, and Mrs. Alice Tolbert, Fayetteville; brothers Upton and Calvin Trace Chambersburg, and Harvey Trace Coatesville,(Chester County)Pa.; and 31 grandchildren. 05/10/06 I have been reading old saved newspapers at The Gettysburg Times web sight and came across an issue dated Sat. Sept. 11, 1911 the News read: Sherman Sites and brother, Fairfield, visted Mr. Edward Trace recently.
