a. Note:   Mary Ellen Linn's death certificate says her fathers last name was Morgan. Her mothers maiden name was Linn. Mary Ellen's marriage certificate says her maiden name was Linn. Her relationship with Mr. Morgan is unknown. He may have been a stepfather. Her son Henry V. Lawson's death certificate says her maiden name was Morgan.
  In the Middletown Journal dated Thursday July 16, 1936 Mrs. Mary Ellen Lawson 86 died Wednesday at 11:45 at the home of son Levi Lawson of Sunbury Mrs. Lawson came to Sunbury two years ago from Kemmell Indiana. She had been in ill health six months, a stroke of paprlysis bringing a swift end. She was a member of the Baptist church, her late husband having been a Baptist Minister and a Civil War veteran. Eight children survive. The body has been removed to the Arpp Funeral Home where it may be viewed Thursday. It will then be taken to the home of her Daughter in law Mrs. R.D. Lawson in Kemmell Indiana where funeral services will be held Friday 2 pm
