Note: Not much is known of Shri Gopalji Talim and he was probably born in Mumbai around 1805. He had his own house in Bhendi Bazar, Bombay. He had his own successful trade `Kapashi` and became wealthy. He had four sons; the first one died early. The others were Harichandra, Balkrishna and Vasant.
