a. Note:   Evelyn had a stroke while staying with Richard and Lillie Mae. She never fully recovered and was moved to Maple Ridge Care Center where she died on August 14, 1997.
  Obituary for Evelyn Ingalsbe from the Streator Times Press, August 16, 1997:
 "Evelyn D. Ingalsbe, 87, formerly of Streator, died Thursday, August 14, 1997, at Maple Ridge Care Center, Lincoln. Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Monday at Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home. The Rev. David Buche, of the Christian Church of DeMotte, Indiana will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park, Ottawa. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Tim Ingalsbe, Eric Worley and Darryl Presley. Visitation will be 1-2:30 P.M. Monday at Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home. Born October 11, 1909, in Streator, she was the daughter of Perry and Lillian (Merriner) Hawkins. She married Marion Ingalsbe on September 8, 1928 in Streator. He died September 7, 1966. She is survived by a son, Richard D. Ingalsbe of Lincoln; a daughter, Darlene (Mrs. James) Worley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and sisters Virginia Broad of Streator and Helen Talbot of Pekin. She was preceded in death by a sister. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice."
