a. Note:   Obituary
 FRANK KRIPLEAN,89
 BURIED HERE MONDAY
 The funeral of Frank Kriplean, one of Taylor county's earlypioneers
 who died at his home in Medford Thursday morning about 10:00 o'clock,
 were held Monday at the Holy Rosary Catholic church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Gregory Reuter officiated and burial was in the Evergreen
 Cemetery.
 Mr. Kriplean was born at Reedsville, Wis., on January 11, 1861.
 At the age of 18 he came to Taylor County with his parents. He
 farmed at three different locations during his lifetime, and also
 was engaged in carpenter work, barn building being his specialty.
  He was married in 1884 to Pauline Feddick and they had 13 children,
 10 of whom survive. They are: Lena, Mrs. Andrew Kranig, Fall Creek;
 Henry Kriplean, Bottineau, North Dakota; John Kriplean, Medford;
 Theresa, Mrs. Lloyd Collins, Marshfield; August Kriplean, Medford;
 Mary, Mrs. George Brunkalla, Leona, Wis.; Catharine, Mrs. Gil Hartung,
 Milwaukee; Agnes, Mrs. Herb Raddatz, Milwaukee; Hanna, Mrs. Anton Pogatez, Medford; Edward Kriplean, Pittsville. His wife three
 sons, Frank, Charles, and Paul, and six brothers and sisters preceded
 Mr. kriplean in death. Other survivors include 65 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, one
 great, great grandchild and three sisters: Lizzie, Mrs. John Krueger,
 Manitowoc: Katie, Mrs. Anton Brost Sr., Medford; and Theresa, Mrs.
 John Brost Sr., Medford.
  On his death certificate it says he died at 113 S. 4th Street in Medford so I wrote and asked Sara Nuernberger if it was a house or hospital or what? This is her reply. IG
  The area of 113 S. 4th St. is a residential area, and always has been as far as I know.
  The death record indicates that he lived at that address for 3 years. I don't believe there is currently a house at that address. I checked the city address book at work.
 From Sara Nuernberger
