Note: St. George Catholic church was established in 1861, as a mission of St. Wendel, St. George Church was closed and members joined the St. Wendel. In 1953 the church was demolished and only the cemetery remains. It is located 0.4 miles West of County LS on Hwy. 149, Then 0,1 mile North on Birch Street, then 100 yards, on dirt road to cemetery. S.1/2, SE 1/4, NW 1/4, Sec,27. First grass path from East to West, nearest entrance separates this cemetery from St. Johannes Lutheran Cemetery, same location.
