Note: Some places Lizzie is called Elizabeth, at one place she is called Louisa. Lizzie Kreplin married to John Krueger did die in Chicago, Illinois. Here is her obituary. It was printed in the Manitowoc Herald Times on Feb 14, 1952 Page M2, Column 2. KRUEGER Mrs. John Krueger, 80, former county resident, died Wednesday at a Chicago hospital. In recent years she had been residing in Chicago with a daughter, Mrs. Emil Martin. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Merlin Hoeft will officiate and burial will in the Rockland Cemetery. She was born Elizabeth Kreppline in Maple Grove in 1872 and in 1894 married to John Krueger. They located on a farm in Rockland, now operated by her son, Robert. Her husband died 16 years ago. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the United Brethren congregation. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Emil Martin of Chicago; two sons William J. of Milwaukee and Robert of Rockland; three sisters, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Reedsville Funeral Home. The casket will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Friday. ************************************
