July 5, 1942 Posted by Sara Nuernberger on Sat, 10 Jun 2000 Surname: KRIPLEAN, WAGNER, KRANIG, COLLINS, BRUNKALLA, HARTUNG, RADDATZ, POGATETZ Paul KRIPLEAN Dies at Detroit July 5 Paul KRIPLEAN, 50, former Taylor county resident, died at Detroit, Mich., Sunday, July 5. Funeral services were held at Pembine, Wis., Wednesday, July 8, with burial at Pembine. KRIPLEAN lived at Gladstone, Mich., and had been ill only a few days. He was born in Medford in May of 1892 and lived in Taylor county until he was grown to manhood. He married Miss Lucy WAGNER of Medford. He was a carpenter by trade and lived for awhile in the town of Browning. Survivors include his widow of Gladstone, four daughters, Helen and Paula of Grand Rapids., Mich., and Mary and Inez of Gladstone; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank KRIPLEAN of Medford; four brothers, Henry of North Dakota, John of the town of Browning, August of Medford and Ed of Germantown, Wis; six sisters, Mrs. Andrew KRANIG of Fall Creek, Wis., Mrs. Lloyd COLLINS of Marshfield, Mrs. George BRUNKALLA of Laona, Wis., Mrs. Gilbert HARTUNG and Mrs. Herb RADDATZ of Milwaukee and Mrs. Anton POGATETZ of the town of Browning; and four grandchildren. Attending the funeral were Mrs. Anton POGATETZ, Mr. and Mrs. Frank KRIPLEAN and Mr. and Mrs. John KRIPLEAN.
