Obituary of Fred Isetts, Kenosha News, 4-28-75 ISETTS Fred W. Isetts, 82, 1412 71st St., died Saturday at Memorial hospital following a long illness. Born in Racine, Wis. on March 19, 1893, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius B. Isetts. He was educated in the schools of Racine and Kenosha. He married Elsie Lambrecht on Oct. 14, 1916 and she died Dec. 15, 1963. He married Mrs. Rose Nelson Kallio on June 25, 1964. Mr. Isetts was employed by the Chicago and North Western Railway for over 50 years, retiring in 1963. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Deputy Sheriffs Association. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roger F. of Kenosha and Gilbert C. of Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. Nelson (Jane) Busby of Mesa, Ariz; a step-daughter, Mrs. Donna Lee Coy of Kenosha; ad by 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Isetts was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. ! In e-mail from me to Beth dated 2/11/00: Jane and I were talking earlier and get this. She made the William connection for us. William Sr., Fred and James' brother as I suspected. William Jr., Jane's uncle and William III was her cousin. She said that William Sr., James, Fred and Cornelius Jr. are all brothers and sons of Cornelius Sr. Jane said it was Cornelius (Neal) Jr. who owned the boiler factory in Chicago. She said that her father Fred worked at the boiler factory for a while during the depression and that they made the barrels that people would install in their cars to carry bootlegged liquor while it was still prohibited.
