Notes
a. Note:   1910 - at 45 years of age was widowed a second time fromMr. Johnson; farmed her own farm in ST CROIX CADY TWP WI;had 8 children that were all still living; could read, write and speak in English
b. Note:   RI2
Note:   (Research):According to one authority on Norwegian farmnames, there is only one farm of that name (Rothvold) inNorway. It is in Sakshaug parish, Inderoy, Nord-Trondelag.
Ragnil - probably shortened so it would sound right inEnglish-In Norway you do not pronouce th "d"
  >...I do find a Ranghild Dahl, age 23, married, emigratingfrom Trondheim in
 >1882, going to Menomonie, Wisc. Via the Inman Line, onDampmsk. Tasso.
 >This Ragnhild was born in Vads (Finnmark).
TASSO was a Wilson Line "feeder ship" to Hull, where shewould have taken
the train to Liverpool to embark on an Inman Line ship toNew
York. Probably the CITY OF CHESTER from LiverpoolSeptember 1st (Aug. 31)
arriving New York September 10th 1882
 http://www.norwayheritage.com/t_transatlantic.asp?month=09&year=1882
  >Then there is a Ragnhild Rotvold, age 22 in 1888, born inTydalen (near
 >Trondheim), unmarried, leaving on the American Line, shipDomino, headed
 >for "Baldwind" (I presume Baldwin), Wisconsin.
DOMINO was also a Wilson Line "feeder ship" to Hull, whereshe would have
taken the train to Liverpool to embark on an American Lineship to
Philadelphia. Probably the BRITISH KING from Liverpool, arriving
Philadephia December 19th 1888. (Lord Gough on Dec 10thmight be a little
 too early)
  I couldn't find a Ragnil but found a girl of the right age(b. 1862) at a farm
called Rodvoldveen-- Spelling wasn't fixed at this time.

I rather think that this is the right person- The fact thatchildren are named
John, Peter, think Peder, and Oliver, think Ole/Olaf -familynames for this
family, too. While the child Magdalene is listed as pleieborn- out of
wedlock, she surely isn't Jocomine Johnsd.'s child, as sheis 60. Because
she is not listed as hendes Datter, she is not likelyJocomine Pedersdtr..
More likely her mother is somewhere else! That is a fosterchild.
