Alfred was living in La Grange, IL when he telephonedJohnny (his brother) to come and visit him in his new home. Very shortly afterward, Johnny received another telephonecall to inform him that Al was dead & that Johnny was topay the funeral bills. Johnny felt that Alfred's wife andbrother in-law were crooks and "did away with him". Alfredhad a son.

Maybe you could find a marriage record for Alfred. Thecensus tells how long they were married � do you have thatinfo? If not, I can get it for you. They were probablymarried in Lyons, since he lived there before and I�m surethat her family would insist on having a local wedding intheir very own Catholic church!
