Note: She was manager of the Canon City, CO radio station KRLN at the time of her death.
She married her high school sweetheart at the age of 17 in Pueblo, CO. She and Bob moved with Jami and Bobby (Bones) to Canon City in 1967.
She was the first woman to run for the Canon City city council as a Democrat. She came in 6th in a field of 12, but only the top 5 became council members.
She worked as a bank teller and later vice-president of Empire Bank. She appeared in the movie "The Brothers O'Toole" staring Lee Maryweather. John Austin and Patty Duke. In the cast notes she was listed as "tall dance hall girl".
She was president of the Canon City Chamber of Commerce. She was a community mover and shaker, a great wife and mother, plus someone every family would love.
