The parents of your grandmother, Ollie, are William Quarlis Ginn and Mary Lou Sweat. Arzo "Clifton" Ginn (brother to Ollie) is my husbands (David Bell) Grandmothers' (Lena Vivian Ginn Suggs) parents.
I have the parents of WQ Ginn. They are Jackson Ginn and Elizabeth Perren of AL and Jackson's parents are Jesse Ginn and Tabitha Brewer. I've hit a dead end with the parent of Mary Lou Sweat, don't know who they are. Parent of Elizabeth Perren are William Perren and Sarah ?. Tabitha Brewer's dad's name was John.

I haven't worked on this line in a while; If I remember correctly, there is controversy whether either Jackson is the father of William Quarlis or Jesse is the father of Jackson. I'll have to double check my census records, because there is one of those that I don't have the son listed with the parents as proof!

Clifton was gone before I was born. So nope, didn't talk with him!!!. Granny Lena (Ginn-Suggs) however died in 2000 and I did get some information from her before she got too sick. That's where I got the name William Quarlis to begin with.
