 The Edward Batko's celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary Monday, November 23.
  Mr. and Mrs. Edward Batko are once again the proud parents of a daughter. The new Miss Batko arrived Friday evening, November 27, at 9:20 p.m. at the Lutheran Deaconess hospital and weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. This new arrival makes number three for the Batko family. Penelope and Bryan are the big sister and brother, who are anxiously waiting for mother and baby sister to come home. They are expected home by Sunday.

  OBITUARY
 Edward F. Batko, 81, Rt. 4, Tomah, died Sun., Oct 28, 1990 at the Tomah Care Center. He was born Aug. 28, 1909 to John and Anna (Sendarek) Batko at Chicago, Ill. He married May D. Dumara on Nov. 23, 1935 at Chicago. They moved to Camp Douglas in 1950. Shortly after moving to Camp Douglas, he was employed at the Milwaukee Road Machine Shop in Tomah and worked as a machinist. He retired from the Milwaukee Railroad in 1975 and moved to Tomah in 1980. For many years he was a member of the La Crosse Moose Lodge.
 In addition to his wife May of Tomah, he is survived by a son, John Brian (Lynn) of Stitzer; two daughters, Mrs. Kurt (Penny) Martin of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Mrs. Alan (Twinkle) Nelson of Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jerry (Irene) Komarek of McHenry, IL.
 Memorial services will be held Sat., Nov. 3, at 3:00 p.m. from the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St. Chaplain John T. Soltvedt will officiate. Burial will be private. The famiy requests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society.
 Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until time of the service.
  REMEMBRANCES
 Every Christmas he would dress up as Santa Claus.
  In 195? Ed was taking the TV into Tomah to be repaired, so he put it in the back of the pickup and drove to town. While on the way there the TV fell out of the pickup. He was so embarressed that he just took it home and it worked just fine.
