a. Note:   Wylie Columbus Taylor came to Henderson County, Texas, in 1854 with his parents from Arkansas. They moved to Kickapoo, Anderson County, Texas about 1860 and Wylie lived their until 1869 when he move to Fincastle, Henderson County, Texas. There he was married to Georgia Hasseltine Lunsford and they had 10 children. The oldest two chilren died in infancy, but the others all lived to be grown and married. He was a farmer and lived on the farm he owned for 48 years where he died. He served as a constable and Justice for Precinct No. 5 in Henderson County for six years and was a Democrat in politics.
  Wylie C. Taylor died at 7:24 o'clock according to W.C. Taylor's notes. Not know if it was A.M or P.M..
