Jesse and Elisha Ginn are in Elbert Co. in the late 1700's and apparently left NC about the same time. Sarah is presumed to be Jesse's wife and Transylvania is presumed to be Elisha's wife. Jacob Ginn is also a NC Ginn who appears in Elbert Co. about the same time. I would not be surprised if Jacob and Elisha are the same person. A Elisha Jacob Ginn is listed in the "Forever a Ginn" website. Also, Rev. War NC Militia soldier Elisha Ginn signed out on his official documents as Jacob.
Hardy Ginn is in NC in the late 1700's but appears to have stayed put. Christopher Ginn and Moses Ginn appear on early NC documents as well. There is also a Mace Ginn that gets mentioned on the Ginn websites as well from NC.
