  Jack Kenneth Miller, Sr. was the youngest son of John A. and Lela Adeline Gibson Miller. He was born at his home, a farm in the Boardtown Community of Gilmer County, Georgia. On his original birth certificate, Jack Miller's name appears as "Kineth Jackson Miller." Throughout his life he used the name Jack Kenneth Miller and in 1991 his birth certificate was amended and the name appears as "Jack Kenneth Miller." He attended Ellijay High School where he graduated in 1950.
  Jack Miller enlisted in the U. S. Navy on May 1, 1952 where he served for 4 years during the Korean War. He was sent to San Diego, California for his basic training and later was stationed in Seattle, Washington. He served aboard the U.S.S. Newport News.
  He and Bennie were married August 9, 1952 in Benton, Tennessee. After Jack was discharged from the Navy, they made their home in Atlanta, Georgia where they raised two children. They lived there until their deaths in 2003.
  After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he went to work for the U.S. Post Office for a short while. In 1959, Jack Miller was employed by General Motors Parts Division in Doraville, Georgia and served as President of the UAW Local there for many years. He retired in 2001 after 40 years service to General Motors.

  Will of Jack K. Miller:

 Fulton County
  I JACK K. MILLER of said State and County, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and annulling all others, by me heretofore made.
  Item 1st:
 I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christianlike manner, suitable to my circumstances and condition in life.
  Item 2nd:
 I desire that all of my debts be paid by my executrix hereinafter appointed.
  Item 3rd:
 give, bequeath and devise to my wife, BENNIE MILLER, all my real property, wherever located or situated, in fee simple. In the event my wife named herein does not survive me, I give, bequeath, and devise all my real property, in fee simple, to any child or children that survive me, share and share alike.
  Item 4th:
 I give, bequeath, and devise to my wife, BENNIE MILLER, all my household furniture and furnishings, bonds, bank accounts, and such other personal effects, including automobiles, that I may own at the time of my death. In the event my wife name herein does not survive me, I give, bequeath, and devise all my personal property to any child or children that may survive me, share and share alike.
  Item 5th:
 In the event my wife should not survive me, and there is any child or children that survive me who have not reached the age of twenty-one (21) years, I hereby appoint and select JEANETTE COLEMAN as the Guardian of the person and property of any child or children that might survive me, her powers and duties to be as are required by law.
  Item 6th:
 I relieve my said executrix hereinafter named giving bond, making an inventory or appraisal of my estate, and from making returns of her acts and doings to any Courts, and in the execution of any sale had by her she is authorized and empowered to execute any instrument or instruments necessary to consummate the same.
  Item 7th:
 I hereby name and appoint BENNIE MILLER as executrix of this, my last will and testament.
  This 27th day of June 1972
