Note: BIOGRAPHY: County Records, located in the Greer County Courthouse and printed in 1992, by Jordan Martin, shows the following: File - Schools, pg. 4, Report - Greer Co., TX., 1891-1893, Name - School District, Morrow, A. Wheatland No. 19, 1871. Mo 4, Amt. 0. The relationship of the A. Morrow is unknown, but our Alexander Morrow may have been in that county during that time period. Further investigation should be done. MARRIAGE #1: Mary Nickelson, born 1858 in Tennessee, married about 1879 (Daughter, Sally Ann, appeared on the 1880 DeWitt County, Texas census as age 1. Other family researchers (FamilySearch.com) give the marriage date as 8 August 1877. MARRIAGE #2: I copied the following Guadelupe County, Texas Marriage Records 1884-1885, from the Guadelupe County, Texas GenWeb Project: A.L. Morrow to Mrs. S.J. Guttery, by R.W. Pierce, Elder, 4 March 1884. The original marriage record can be found at the Guadelupe County Courthouse and copies are on file at the Sophienburg Archives, New Braunfels, Texas. CENSUS: CAUTION: 1860 Hunt County, Texas Census, Farmersville P.O., page 339, shows Alexander Morrow. There was also an Alexander Morrow in 1880 in Burnett County, Texas, page 157. Morrow, age 23, born in Missouri, occupation farmer. Father born in North Carolina, mother in Indiana. Wife, Mary, age 22, born in Tennessee. Sally, daughter, age 1, born in Texas. Mary A. Nickelson, mother-in-law, age 66, born in Tennessee. Isaac Nickelson, brother-in-law, age 16, born in Arkansas. And Martin, brother-in-law, age 14, born in Arkansas.
