Note: he 156th Company of the Civillian Conservation Corps which built the Evans Notch Road in the White Mountains of Maine; and owned and operated a general store at Stow Corner, Maine, from 1937 until 1945. He served as Postmaster of Stow from 1942 to 1945, and as a Civil Defense Air Raid Warden in Stow during World War II. Rodney held the offices of Stow Town Treasurer from 1956 to 1975, and Stow Town Tax Collector from 1956 to 1986. He worked for Ossipee Oil Company in Fryeburg, Maine, from 1946 until his retirement in 1976. After retirement he worked for a few years at the Maines Wood Turning Mill in Bridgton, ME.
