Betty Pressler, 82, Marion, died at 12:30 am, Friday, May 28, 2010 at Wesleyan Health Care Center, Marion, IN. She was born in Huntington County, to the late Paul M. and Fern (Bailey) Thompson and had been a resident of Grant County for 57 years. She married Vern R. Pressler on June 13, 1953. He preceded her in death on September 6, 2003.
Betty retired from General Plastics after 10 years and was past President of the Union. She was previously employed at Tulox Plastics for 5 years, Ball Stores and Foster Forbes. She was a member of Grace Community Church.
Betty enjoyed crafts, crocheting and painting ceramics.

Visitation: will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
