George C. Garst passed away at his home in Chicago on February 13, 1914, at the age of 49 years after an illness of ten days duration.
Deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Garst and was born in Naperville on December 23, 1864. He moved to Chicago twenty-five years ago and resided there until the time of his death. He was engaged in the commission business.
His bereaved wife and aged mother are left to mourn his departure. An aunt, Mrs. Charles Boettger, resides there.
Funeral services were held in St. John's Lutheran church on Sunday, the remains being brought from Chicago on the 12:53 train. Interment was made in the Naperville cemetery.
