 Emigration is documented on a passenger list for the ship Normandie, arriving at the Port of New York on Oct 20, 1836. Passenger list includes Daniel age 28, wife Margueritte age 35, daughter Salome, son Christian & Daniel's mother, Eliza, age 66.
 It appears she died in Erie Co, NY sometime after the 1840 Census and before Daniel married Magdalena Fix in 1843 or 1844.
