 The following family sketch was furnished by Lena Louise Garst Tragesser, and shows that there were other Garsts coming over at different times, and we have no way of knowing what kinships existed in the old county, and so they cannot be lined up with "our" Garst family.

On May 18, 1884 Peter left Germany, arrived at New York, June 1, 1884, was naturalized in Noblesville, Hamilton County, Indiana, in 1891. He died Oct 24, 1915, and she, Sept 2, 1887
