Tipton -- Sebastian Ves Garst, 95, Atlanta RR 2, died Sunday morning in his home after of illiness three years.
Born Oct 2, 1872, in Dirmstein, Germany, he was the son of Peter and Elizabeth (Burkhardt) Garst. On Dec 24, 1897, in Arcadia, he married to Clara B Stultz, who preceded him in death Jan 21, 1944. On May 1, 1948 he was married to Mimmii Bilhymer, who died Sept 21, 1959.
He had attended Todd School in Tipton County and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Ralph Spurgeon of Greenwood; one son, James Garst of Atlanta; on stepdaughter, Mrs Harlan Walkins of Indianaplois; one brother, Andrew Garst of Tipton; Eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
