Peter G Garst Dies at Elwood
Elwood Feb 6, (SPL) -- Peter G Garst, age 73, 1831� North A Street, died at Mercy Hospital at 8:30 am today, following seral months of illness.
Funeral services will conducted at St Joseph's Church at 9 am, Saturday by the Rev Theodore J Hammes, pastor. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery. The body was taken to the Copher and Fesler funeral home, where friends can call.
Surviving are three sons, John Garst, Elwood; Harold, of Alexandria; and Lawerance, of Tipton; a daughter Miss Martha Garst, home; three brothers, Sebastian Garst, Altanta; Louis, Fortville; and Andrew, of Tipton; two sisters, Mrs Elizabeth Eisle, and Mrs Mary Bouse Altanta, and one granddaughter.
He was born at Dirmstein, Germany on Aug 6, 1878 to Peter and Elizabeth Garst. He married Etta Mary Tichenor on Sept 26, 1929.
