Notes
a. Note:   N323 Joseph David Stewart Jr. was dark blond, blue-eyed and relatively short for a man--5'6, and a heavy weight all his life. Joe loved to hunt and fish. He loved fiddle music and often reminisced how well his daddy could fiddle, playing any song he he ard from memory. He loved to go "honky-tonking" and dance.
At another point in his youth, he worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps in Burnet County. His crew worked on the Longhorn Cavern site, building the road and cleaning out some of the passages.
