a. Note:   At the time of his father's death in 1948, he discovered his real name was Joseph Renauld and not Oswald. Said that he went by Oswald for 48 years and was not going to change after all those years so had his name legally changed to Oswald Joseph Renauld, Jr. at that time.

  Worked for the Twin Cities Packing Co. starting at the age of 12 and worked there until 1929 when he moved to Kalamazoo and went to work for Peter Eckrich and Sons and he retired from there in 1965 after 53 years in the meat packing business. He was honored in 1962 for 50 years of service to the meat industry.
