 Ran the "Chicago Saloon" with his brother Frank at 225 N. Washington St.,Green Bay, WI., was also a member of the Green Bay Police Department.
 Came to Marshfield, WI. in 1912 by the railroad, and operated a tavern at 201 N. Central Ave. Marshfield, WI. until the time of his death in 1942.
 Was appointed alderman of the Eighth Ward and was re-elected for two more terms.
