a. Note:   edroom.She was cared for by privately hired aides from Mrs. Fairweather and by the Holy Cross Hospital Hospice Program. For about 10 days before her death, one or more of her children were with her at all times. Since it was so close to Christmas, while reciting the Rosary aloud they sang Christmas Carols between the decades. She remained alert up until the last 48 hours of her life. Father Powderly administered the Last Rites during her last days. They held a common bond of sobriety.
