Note: uly 1793. Davolt Koone was disowned for marrying out of the Quaker Unity to one nearer than a second cousin on 27 June 1801. Devault appears in the 1815 tax list for Ashe Co., NC. In 1830 he lived in Morgan Co., IN (page 252) (1122201000000-1010201000000). Davault recorded land in Morgan Co., IN, Section 13, Township 12 north, Range 1 east, on 14 Nov 1820, although Morgan Co. was not formed until 1822. Subsequent land transactions in the Recorders Office, Morgan Co. were recorded in 1826, 1828, 1829, 1830, 1834, 1835 and 1836.
Devault's estate was proved 1 Apr 1836 with letters of administration granted to Grant Stafford and bond filed with son-in-law John Dyer as security
