Note: In the Whiteside Sentinel Triweekly newspaper, Morrison, IL Monday Jan 23, 1922 MRS. HENRY ZANDWEG Mrs. Henry Zandweg, aged about 63 years, died at her home in this city at 9:15 o'clock Sunday morning. She had been ailing for years, but the direct cause of her death was pneumonia. The funerals services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the house and 2 o'clock at the Reformed Church. Rev. Jean A. Vis officiating. Burial will be made in Grove Hill Cemetery. Elena Workman was born May 17, 1859, at Underdam, Gronigen, Holland and was united in marriage there to Henry Zandweg. They came to the United States in March, 1891 locating at Fulton, where they resided until six years ago, when they moved to Morrison. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Richard of Rockford, IL and Harry and Edward of Rock Island, IL, six grandchildren, also two sisters and one brother in Fulton, Mrs. John Zuidema, Mrs. C. Norman and Claus Workman, and one sister and one brother in Holland. Many friends will extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
