Notes
a. Note:   * Emilie Panzram was born in Behl, Prussia, the daughter of Andreas Panzram and Justin Roch/Koch in 1846. She married Joseph Polzin in Tutz in 1870. * Emilie had a half sister Caroline whose mother was Anna Bonroviak and was born in about 1844 in Behle, West Prussia. She married Albert Ciesolka and had a son Albert who was born in Behle and died in Toowoomba in 1891 aged 13 years. The Ciesolka family came to Queensland in 1891 as nominated immigrants on the "Almora" on the 1/01/1883. Emilie's other sister Auguste was born in Behle in 1851 to Andreas and Justine. Auguste married Martin Schultz on the 21/01/1871 in Knackendorf, Prussia. The Schultz family also nominated immigrants, arrived in Queensland on the "Zamora on the 25/04/1881. Auguste died on the 22/11/1886 at Meringandan aged 35. She was buried at the church cemetery there. Martin remarried a widow, Louise Gerselowski nee Liebke. * Caroline and her family settled at Gowrie Scrub. Emilie and her family settled at Highfields. Auguste and her famillly settled at Blenheim near Laidley. * Germans tended to emigrate in family groups either together or over a period of a few years and once here they tended to settle together. This is called the "Cluster Theory of Emigration". The Panzram sisters obviously were not close enough to wish to settle together with one deciding to settle in the Lockyer Valley. * Emilie remarried 3 months after Joseph died on the 25/06/1886 to Ferdinand Raatz at Highfields, Queensland. He was a native of Rosenfelde in West Prussia, and came to Australia on the "Friedburg" in 1873. * Emilie died on the 9 July 1932 and is buried at Geham/Cabarlah cemetery. Has notes.
