(Last name transcibed as DILLER) 1930 Caleb Dillee Dies Monday Caleb Dillee, 79, of 921 S. Emery, died Monday at the Independence Sanitarium and Hospital after a one-week illness. He was born in Carroll County, Mo., and moved to Independence 50 years ago from Peru, Kan. He retired 10 years ago after having worked for 18 years as a custodian, for the Independence school system. He had been a custodian at the Bryant and the McCoy Schools. He was a member of the Walnut Park R.L.D.S. Church and Masonic Lodge No. 76, A.F. and A.M. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. May Dillee, of the home; a son, Harold C. Dillee, Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Miss Winnifred Dillee, Council Bluffs, Ia., and Mrs. Marian Ogden, 928 S. Leslie; three brothers, A.K. Dillee, 616 W. Nickell; Arthur Dilliee, Longton, Kan., and George Dillee, 114 W. South Side Blvd.; two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Sanders, 1922 S. Ash, and Mrs. Lou Wicker, Osceola, Mo.; six grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
