Dillee Funeral services for Alma K. Dillee, 74, of 616 �W, Nickell, who died Tuesday morning at the In- dependence Sanitarium and Hospital, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Thursday at the Roland R. Speaks Chapel. The burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. He suffered a cerebral hemor- rhage last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Dillee had returned from Minnesota on Oct. 13, where they had spent the summer and had been living temporarily at the home of their son, Ivan A. Dillee, 413 N. River. Mr. Dillee was born in Barton County, Kan., and had lived in Independence since 1900. Mr. and Mrs. Dillee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July of 1953. He was a member of the Re- organized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had been actively engaged in church work most of his life. At the time of his death he held the office of patriarch. He had served as pastor of the Second R.L.D.S. Church and of the Wal- nut Park R.L.D.S. Church. From 1921 to 1924 he had served as Republican councilman from the fourth ward. During the years 1928 to 1931 he was a member of the board of education for the Independence school system. He retired in 1946 after 35 years with Fred Harvey, Inc. Mr. Dillee is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lizzie A. Dillee; two other sons, Fred E. Dillee of 1000 S. Liberty, and Richard G. Dillee, of 1206 N. Pleasaht: two brothers; George I. Dillee, of 114 W. South Side Boulevard, and Arthur Dillee, of Longton, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Wicker, of �Osceola, Mo., and Mrs. Mary Sanders, 1921 Ash Avenue; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
