Entry #53, Laskowiec Happened in Morzyslaw, 28th of May, 1841. Appeared Jan Kanczuzewski, blacksmith from Laskowiec, aged 47, in presence of Franciszek Kusmierkiewicz, manor official from Wola Podlezna, aged 42 and Walenty Ciesielski, blacksmith apprentice from Laskowiec, aged 22. He showed us his child of male sex born at his home on May 19 (Julian style), i.e. June
1 (Gregorian style) 1841 at 9am. He declared the child to be born to him by his wife Julianna Walczakiewicz, aged 47. The child was baptized today by me and given the name Antoni. His godparents were Franciszek Kusmierkiewicz from Wola Podlezna and Antonina Ciesielska from Konin, all Roman Catholic. This was then read to all concerned, all illiterate. Fr.
