Note: May Turpin Rumbaugh was divorced from Michael Rumbaugh in Polk County, Iowa, in 1893; family lore is that she lived for a while in Pocatello, Idaho. She married Guy Partridge in Arkansas in 1896; the marriage certificate states that she is a resident of Texas. Mr. Partridge was a printer, from Grand Island, Nebraska. In 1901 she moved to Washington, D.C. with Mr. Partridge where she lived until she died in 1931. -fk
